support for AIFF files

Is there any way to get Amarok to play AIFF audio files? A large part of my audio collection is in uncompressed format--on purpose--and I'd really like to be able to listen to those files and work with them without having to change their format.

Alternatively, are they any audio players that support AIFF? I have gone through a few and had no luck.

Hello Jeanie..

Aiff will play in totem for me, but had to be added to the open-with list (Properties -> Open With -> Add -> Movie player") of an aiff file before it would open. No problems actually playing the files.

jlGui player is an alternative option.
