How can I delete things out of the collection?

Asked by Julian F. Rost

Hello,
sorry to disturb, but I'm new to Amarok, and since I didn't find any help... well.
I've used the "scanning" option thing in "Settings > Configure Amarok...", but I've accidentally selected a folder from my old Windows(R)-drive, and now I'm stuck with some system-sounds I really don't need.
How can I delete them?
Any help? Please? Would be grateful! ^^
Regards,
J

Your best bet is to probably remove them from your collection.

In Amarok, click Settings -> Configure Amarok

Then choose "Collection" on the left. Find your windows drive (or the folder you don't want to include), and uncheck it. Then "Rescan Collection", and the files should be gone.

Thanks, buddy!
I had to look for the "Rescan Collection"-button, but eventually I found it :)
Problem solved.
