Fast forward / rewind in Amarok

Are there any add-ons or plug-ins that would allow fast forward or rewind of audio files in Amarok? I find this to be very necessary, especially when listening to Podcasts.

You can seek through songs using the slider in the bottom left of the application.

However, there is no way to control fast forwarding with any buttons

Yes, this does work. I did find however, that I had to download the podcast first for the slider bar to be enabled. I was originally listening to the podcast without downloading it first -- and in this case the slider bar does not function although it can be faintly seen.
