Transfer from Ipod

Asked by Dagmar

Hi ! I'm a total noob to Linux (Installed Gutsy last Fri after I finally gave up on Windoze and also had to put a new hdd in my machine.) So I am now trying to figure out how to transfer the contents of my Ipod back into my computer. I know that in Itunes I could enable it to act as a storage device and then manually transfer over. Is there an app out there that can do this in Linux? Also, I archived my Itunes library so that may be another alternative if I can find a program that can read it. Any help is appreciated!
