Sync over Bluetooth

Asked by Penguincsc

Is there a way to sync Amarok with my Nokia 6288 cell phone over Bluetooth? I use Amarok 1.4 with Kubuntu 7.10. My phone is paired with the Kubuntu and I use Bluetooth to transfer files all the time...

Thanks!

Well, there is one really, really, really awfully technical way to _maybe_ archive a sync over bluetooth, but we (as in: me and an Amarok fellow) understood that you don't want to do that. Still, if you really want to, I can write you a hell long HowTo, and even then it might as well not work :|

Also, syncing doesn't always mean syncing. The Amarok understanding of syncing is to sync a certain amount of tracks from your collection to a mobile player ... including all statistics the player can process and the cover artwork.... I don't know whether your cell phone is capable of that after all.

Anyway, the easiest way to sync it, is to get an USB cable. Then you just have to plug the cable.

Can you help with this problem?
