Please help me whit this:
Kubuntu 9.04
HP Compaq 610 - nice notebook
No sound from speakers > from jack by headphones litte bit sound i heard (music)
I try:

Step 2: Run the following commands (copy/paste each command into the Terminal and then hit <enter>)

Also try replacing

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop

with

options snd-hda-intel model=ref

in the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

and then reboot and retest sound

If sound still does not work, try upgrading alsa to newest version and reboot and retest sound.

I have KDE4 > alsa mixer all OK > no mute

Vork only whit -alsa-1020
 Thank you very much

BTW: after start is sond muted > can I somewere this set? ( I see caution when I install alsa 10.20. Some thing like this > Alsa is default mute .. )
