Applications not registering with ALSA?

Asked by Schure

I believe I did not change anything, and yet, here we are.

I open the Settings > Sound window, and my output devices appear correctly, and they test fine ("front left", "front right"). However, the list of applications I used to have under Volume Levels is now empty.

I followed these instructions https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure
Here is the output of bash alsa-info.sh --stdout

Thanks a lot in advance.
