Click Sound Problems since Update to Ubuntu 20.04.3 lts and USB Soundcard PUC2

Asked by Michael

Click sound Problems appeared after updating from Ubuntu 18 lts to 20.04. lts. I`m using a Yellowtec /PUC2 external USB-S Soundcard with supreme audio quality. Turning power-saving capabilities of, using

   echo "options snd_hda_intel power_save=0" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/audio_disable_powersave.conf

made things a little bit better, but clicking and sometimes a rasping sound didn`t totally disappear.

Alsa-Mixer doesn` t support the PUC2 USB-soundcard.

Any Ideas that could help me fixing the problem ?

Any help appreciated

Michael
