Fresh Install 21.04 no sound at all

I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 21.04 and I get no sound at all.

Running Intel 11th Gen i7-11700k on an Asus ROG Strix z590-i gaming motherboard with integrated video UHD 750, integrated audio in motherboard.

I've followed most of the troubleshooting steps I've found online, but none of them have works so far.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Figured out a weird workaround, if I reboot, login, lock the desktop, turn off the monitor, turn back on the monitor, unlock the desktop I have sound via hdmi interface with the monitor.
