Hi,

Have you read this guide?

http://www.ubuntumini.com/2009/03/fix-audio-in-ubuntu-904-on-dell-mini-9.html
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport/Machines/Netbooks#Dell%20Mini%209

Audio on the Dell Mini 9 should work out of the box in Ubuntu 9.04. You only need to increase the speaker volume in alsamixer.

Regards,

Mark

Hi :)

Please try this trouble shooting guide instead
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure

I think around step 5 it asks you to post a new question which would be a huge help as Launchpad can only really cope with the most recent threads and doesn't have a way of answering older threads like this thread

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
