ubuntu20.04 has no sound through laptop inner speaker but has sound through hdmi or headphones

I installed ubuntu 20.04 on my ASUS ROG laptop recently but it has no sound though laptop inner speaker. It has sound through hdmi and headphone, and in the setting page inner analog speaker is among the speaker list., tried reinstalling pavucontrol, alsamixer, does not fixed the problem. No, everything works with headphone, there is varying volumn bar shown. But with inner speaker the volumn bar shows no volumn
