Volume keys not working on Ubuntu 20.10

Volume keys not working but sound still coming. Problem is that sound is not decreasing or increasing by using volume keys. sound only increase or decrease through Alsa Mixer.

What are these "volume keys"? Are they on a keyboard or are they software based? Does the system have a make and model?
