No soundcard detected

Asked by nicchic

After meddling around with my Ubuntu graphic system yesterday trying to connect an external monitor and ended up switching to an older kernel. During this process I possibly have mixed up more than I wanted and realized that my entire sound system stopped working. I just have dummy output and other input (like microphone) is also not detected.

I followed the SoundTroubleShooting
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure
until Step 3 ending up here.

I attach the ouput of alsa-info.sh below.

Thank you very much for your help and time!

Thanks, I think that makes sense, but some help would be good on that. How can I contact the Ubuntu Drivers Team? I don't see any possibility to opening a questions asking them directly. Where do I have to post my question then?

Can you help with this problem?
