If you install and run pavucontrol does it help?

I have the same laptop (Latitude 3410) and the same problem with Mint 20.

I installed pavucontrol, but it does not change anything...

Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community or Canonical in any way. I suggest you post on the Mint forum here

Anyway, after 2 hours of search (and my comment 15 minutes ago), I found a solution for my laptop :

sudo sed -i 's/""/"snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0"/g' /etc/default/grub
sudo update-grub
