Firefox audio lags and sounds horible

Asked by Kusho50

Using Ubuntu 19.04 with a ASUS AMD ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming motherboard and onboard sound. When I go to netflix, utube, or siriusxm player audio lags very badly and sounds horrible. Using 150 meg internet. Do not have issues in Windows on same computer. Seems to be isolated to Ubuntu.

I tried Cromium and audio issues dissapear. So it looks like it is isolated to Firefox.

Ok sorry... but how do these IOS programs help me fix my audio issues in Firefox on Ubuntu???

Or are you just trying to advertise your IOS software???

This did not solve my problem.

And I installed Google Chrome, and I can do everything I want to do in Ubuntu. Netflix, Siriusxm player, utube movies. I would prefer to fix this issue and not have to use Google Chrome thou. As it is not open source.... all that jazz. So if there is a fix for Firefox I would still like it. Thanks.

Does chromium work OK (not chrome)?

BOTH work fine. I tried Chromium first, but Chromium can not do Netflix, so I installed Google Chrome. It can do everything I wanted to do. Neither Chromium or Google Chrome have any sound issues. Only Firefox has this lagging sound when streaming.
