no, headphones also not work.
 it was working before. I was trying to install Realtek sound card driver to get better sound and now there is no sound. I have seen this thread and follow all the steps but not get the sound.

I fixed it. .....

I was trying to install Alsa and pulse audio both but my sound backend support Phonon GStreamer. when I try to install Realtek, I install alsa and while fixing the sound card I also install pulse. both are creating problems. I take out all the package of alsa and pulsa and Phonon GStreamer was already installed so now it works perfectly.
