No sound in my Sony Vaio laptop running Ubuntu 16.04

I had recently tried to update my sound drivers, installing Realtek Sound Driver for my laptop. The process dodn't complete successfully and had some errors. After that, there hasn't been any sound from my laptop, neither is the headphone jack working.

The ALSA information on my laptop is as follows:

please execute this command and reboot:
