On board sound with Realtek ALC887 not working

hdmi 5.1 and stereosound working with default ubuntu configuration. All ALC887VD output, analog and digital, is not working.

Everything looks fine. When I plug in my head phone it is recognized in front audio and back line out, but there is no sound, although the soundbar shows output is sent to the headphone or line channel.

With installed alsa driver in DKMS format nothing works anymore.

I followed the sound trouble shooting procedure several times, but this did not solve the problem.
