Part 3 ASUS 7270E Unbuntu-16.04 Audio Not Working

Asked by Ray

Hi - I ran the commands from:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure

and then rebooted. The audio out on the top of my desktop case didn't work, but when I ran it in the back on the line-out it sounds great. I opened the case up and it looks like the cable from the top of the case is plugged in okay. I had Micro Center put the computer together as it is a custom box. It's probably still under warranty, but it probably not worth the hassle.

Works fine as long as I plug into the audio in the back of the case ... Thx
