No audio through HDMI on 17.04

Asked by LucasJFox

Hello! I need help trying to solve an audio issue through HDMI.
The ubuntu version is 17.04
The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P rev 2.0 (with a Realtek 892 codec)
My vga card is a Sapphire ATi Radeon 480 Nitro + with the default driver

I'm using a dual monitor setup, the main monitor hooked through the DisplayPort and an HDTV plugged to the HDMI. My main audio output is my on-board Realtek chipset, which works just fine, but when I want to swith to the HDMI audio output, I get no sound whatsoever, neither through the HDTV nor the monitor (which has a built-in 3.5mm stereo output jack).

I followed the Sound Troubleshooting (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure) and this are the results:

ALSA Information Script: https://pastebin.com/Kwsgt0E8

sudo lshw -c sound: https://pastebin.com/iztSxa8h

On PulseAudio I have both 'Built-in Audio' and 'HDA ATI HDMI' as options. Funny thing is that when I switch the output Device from the Sound Options, the blue bar representing the usage of the device does indeed move, although I hear nothing, as you can see on this screenshot http://imgur.com/a/Cawf6

Thank you very much in advance!
