No sound

It's not that easy to answer, there could be a lot of reasons why it doesn't work. So we need more information. Could you please provide us the terminal output of:

cat /proc/asound/cards
lsmod | grep snd

Thanks alot,i finally managed to get sound on my system.i followed the instructions upto and including:

    Add the following line to the file, replacing '3stack' with your flavor (see below)

options snd-hda-intel model=3stack

    Reboot
