wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh

You do realise that Ubuntu 12.04 is EOL (end of life) and no longer supported after April 2017? You may want to abandon the install and do a clean install of Xenial. Xenial is LTS and supported until April 2021.
