Check volume levels in alsamixer

Hello actionparsnip,

I checked the alsamixer level, they are 'full' for headphones.

Also I was hearing the sound through headphone earlier prior to a recent update of ubuntu. I'm using 16.04 LTS

My laptop model is ASUS K55VJ-SX120D
