Is Alsa 1.0.17 planed to be included in 8.10?

Asked by Boromir

I wonder if developers are going to include latest Alsa 1.0.17 in 8.10, because it adds support for Asus Xonar DX cards and fixes some major bugs with Intel chips.

I installed 8.10 as a Dist-upgrade and it has 1.0.17 in it.

Can you help with this problem?
