!!Kernel Information
!!-----
Kernel release: 4.4.0-53-generic
and this:
Release Date: 07/14/2016
Serial services are supported (int 14h)
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: Inspiron 5567
So your currently installed GNU/Linux kernel does NOT support your audio card.
You need to install a newer GNU/Linux kernel: version 4.7 or higher, in order to get FULL hardware support for your very new hardware. Your hardware was released AFTER the original release of Ubuntu 16.04.
Run the following bash script in a Terminal, then reboot into kernel version v4.9-rc8 and retest sound output.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install python-bs4
cd /tmp
rm -rf medigeek-kmp*
wget --no-check-
tar xzf kmpd.tar.gz
cd medigeek-*
python kmpd.py -d
Can you help with this problem?
