No sound out of 3 speakers and subwoofer in 5.1 surround

Asked by Anthony Galindez

Running Ubuntu 16.04.1
ASUS Z97-DELUXE USB3.1
Realtek audio ACL1150

Still consider myself a Newbie to Ubuntu and things Linux so For the longest time I was workng with 2 channels from my sound system until i visited a friend and he had his 5.1 system working.

So I went through the steps outlined at: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure
I have a 35 page doc with all the out put from the terminal screen so any step anyone needs to see I will gladly post, it just seems like alot for the first post.

FYI: I run windows 7 (separate drive)on this very same machine and all speakers are working, so I know the sound card and speaker system is not the problem.

I just want to get sound from all speaker, head phone is fine.
