cannot hear sound through speakers and headset on ubuntu 16.10

  Hi..!!
 Iam new user of ubuntu..

iam facing problem in the issue of sound through speakers and headsets also.

i already installed pulse audio control with the command (sudo apt-get install pavucontrol) but im not able to hear the sound from speakers.

please give me some response for clearing the issue.

i just need detailed explanation..!!

What is the output of:

wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh
