My laptop speakers are not working but any other audio device that I connect to my laptop works

Asked by Lloydtu

I'm running ubuntu 16.04LTS on a Dell inspiron 15z-5523. My laptop speakers don't work but any speakers or headphones that I plug in work. The "test sound" option doesn't make any sound.

I entered <wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh> into the terminal and the output can be found at http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=40615c0acb09d20acfc6e4f8b9233bd7c7e54528
