no sound from Cirrus Logic Crystal CS4281 PCI audio
The sound card was working before on this machine. I formatted the hard drive and did a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04.4 for other unrelated issues and after the install there was no sound. Sound under system settings listed my audio card but would not play test sounds through card. I tried some other trouble shooting steps for audio and now system settings doesn't even list my card. System settings only lists Dummy output.
