any soundcard (internal or external) don't work on my laptop

Asked by Sam

Hi,
I freshly install ubuntu 16.04 on my laptop (HP pavilion 10 x2 n102nf a cherry trail processor). But the conexant sound card isn't recognize. I followed entirely the sound troubleshooting procedure but it didn't work. I also searched on the net if there is a solved similar problem. But none of the procedure worked for me.

I also tried to ask the HP assistance but it didn't help. I search on Intel website if there is a driver for my card but they don't have.

When I plug my usb external soundcard (Focusrite 2i2 natively work with ubuntu studio) it didn't recognize. I tried to install Jack but it didn't help.
So I tried to install ubuntu studio 16.04. But it was worst, sound didn't work and grub didn't get installed.

At least I tried to install the pre-release update. But it change nothing.
And the daily build of oem-hda-intel failed to install without creating any log.

I have exactly the same issue with HP pavilion 10 x2. Were you able to fix the issue ?
