In a terminal, run:

killall pulseaudio; rm -r ~/.config/pulse/* ; rm -r ~/.pulse*

wait 10 seconds, then reboot

Run the following command in a Terminal:

alsamixer

Use the M key to unmute lots of muted channels.

Lots of mixer channels are currently muted in alsamixer.

You need to unmute those channels.
