It happened after my laptop's motherboard went bad. I took the hard drive off, and installed it in this desktop computer. The Ubuntu boots well, programs run, as well as Internet browsers and video, but no sound ever after. It had sound on the laptop. I'd appreciate helping me solve this problem, videos without sound is like salad without salt.
