Run:

alsamixer

Make sure all levels are cranked and unmuted. Use F6 to be sure you are modifying the right device.

somehow my sound control sometimes now doesnt work.sometimes when i change sound it gets zistorted and sound dissapears and the same way by turning on,off and tunung volume it get to work somehow.sometimes it doesnt show that there ise no hardware also.
