after upgrading to 14.10 from 14.04 the sound disappear
I use notebook Gateway model MX6920, i try to found driver compatible but where no found. In addition try to use windows driver using QWine but no installing. Other situation is that I can't to see the windows partition too. Thanks for any help in this particular issue.

Windows drivers are of zero value to you.
Try:
killall pulseaudio; rm -r ~/.config/pulse* ~/.pulse*
Wait ten seconds then try some sound things

This is the message that can see rm: cannot remove ‘/home/
No such file or directory when run killall pulseaudio; rm -r
~/.config/pulse* ~/.pulse* thanks for fast respond.

I fallow the instruction but tell me that the sound card no exist, I use
dual boot and verify the column in the windows partition right now is 100%,
after booting many times try to install driver using wine there do not
install. Thanks for help me.

Today, I upgrade to 15.04 version and have sound in my computer, thanks for
