No sound in Ubuntu 13.10 Intel HDA ALC880

Asked by ypritas

Today I have installed Ubuntu 13.10 on my Quanta MW1 laptop. But I don't have sound :( A litle bit google and found need use options in alsa model=lg-mw1 after that killed pulse audio and sound worked but after restarted everything gone. And now I still don't have sound :( http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=e87e2f96c620ab144af022e1555fbbabcd3317e2 alsamixer showing ALC880 sound card and it is not muted. pavucontrol does not recognize sound card and showing only dummy output. Than sound card worked pavucontrol showed alsa sound card.

Added option to alsa config:
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack
and sound started work.
