hi,
I'm using Toshiba satellite P845-S4200
Since I've installed 12.04 (wubi) I have no sound in the laptop speakers. 3.5mm jack works just fine. tried updating, checked the mixer, it all seems ok.

Hi ,
Open a terminal and check alsamixer , write
alsamixer
and check if any channel is muted. Unmute it with key [m] and increase the volume with arrow key (up)

Hi, thanks for your response.
I checked it, its not muted. You may see the mixer output in the ALSA
script output I sent.
