No sound in 12.04
Sound mysteriously disappeared after an update/reboot in Ubuntu 12.04. I'm running the Sound Troubleshooting procedure, and have completed step 3 of the Sound Troubleshooting procedure at https:/

As you can see, for some reason the drivers for Alsa aren't showing up. Will continue to step 4, in the meantime any advice to prevent this from happening again is appreciated. The sound was working fine two days ago, stopped working after I put the laptop to sleep for a while.
