Sound does not work on X-Fi Elite Pro, used WUBI to install Ubuntu
So, I installed Ubuntu with Wubi, and everything works fine, except for my audio.
I've got a Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro, and Ubuntu even seems to finde the drivers for it, I just don't get any sound.
I've tried different stuff like purging the alsa drivers, installing new alsa drivers, installing OSS driver, but nothing works.

Creative rubbish can be a real pain to get working under Linux. Creative have refused to support Linux too so makes it all the more difficult.
Can you give the output of:

I suggest you disable it in the BIOS, it will make the system simpler. You may find it is the card in use by the system presently.

Just did that, no idea why I had it enabled. However, I have a HDMI on my graphicscard who shows up as soundcard as well.
Doesn't seem like I can disable that.
And disabling the onboard didn't seem to change anything.

What exactly does the modprobe do?
I've tried that driver once, but get a couple of errors during make, which is think is because of the kernel version.
