Headphone jack not rerouting sound

Im having trouble with my headphone jack on my laptop.Whenever I plug my headphones in sound continues to flow from my external speakers AND my headphones. I need help figuring out how to solve this issue.

Please execute step 1 and step 2, then reboot and send us the full terminal output from step 3 and step 4 from this procedure:

Please also specify the exact model and make of your PC (if known).
