Can you give the output of:

wget -O alsa-info.sh http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && bash ./alsa-info.sh

Thanks

You have given ZERO information in your question so we have no way of helping in any way. The command will give a lot of good information.

Does the bad noise always happen or is it caused by particular apps?

Here is the info..

http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=16391770a68b5bb913fe95b5a9011fc005406e15

Basically, its a buzzing / white noise that begins on startup and continues.. I can play music and movies but once that is turned off the noise returns.

No particular apps that causes it just starts on startup

Thanks for the help

I was experiencing the same issue on my machine, and have posted a workaround at https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776949

Can you help with this problem?
