How to install driver for realtek audio ac'97 on ubuntu 10.10

I want to know how to get the driver for the realtek ac'97 audio on my computer. I have a ASrock K8upgrade-Nf3 motherboard it came with realtek 7.1 ac'97 audio. How do I get it to work.

It should run aut of the box. Can you run the following command in the terminal and post the output here?
lspci

Also run the next command and paste all "Card" sections here.
pactl list

I fixed the problem myself. I added a new sound card and it worked.
