usually ubuntu discover immediatly my sound card, i've installed newly version 10.10 and no more sound for me ...

Please install and use gnome-alsamixer to UNMUTE and INCREASE volume on the following mixer channels:

Simple mixer control 'Master',0
Simple mixer control 'LFE',0
Simple mixer control 'Mux',0

all right !!
i did it and i use this option anyway to enable otuput for headphone cause still didn't working ..

alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel model=auto

did not work this option
options snd-hda-intel model=dell-m90 (read it somewhere on internet ...)
