Audio quit working in Ubuntu 10

audio was working on hp pavillion dv5 laptop. Quit working after last online update (update manager). Now no audio. As far as I know I haven't changed anything.

I figured it out. the update had changed the audio output to HDMI. I reset it to internal stereo it works fine now
