terratec 24/96 no audio

Hello,
I just installed Xubuntu 9.04 on an old pc (1200 Mhz Intel Pentium, 512 Mb ram) with an old Terratec ewx 24/96 sound card. There is no sound though the rest works fine, even the audio players seem to be working. Alsa mixer for the right sound card is selected in audio properties. I tried all options in the mixer. I'm new on Linux.

cd ~; wget -O alsa-info.sh http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && bash ./alsa-info.sh
