Microphone does not record

Microphone does not record. I have tried the Sound Recorder file Skype.dsp.hyjacker-7tar.gz - Sound Recorder. All necessary volume controls have been set. After recording I have attempted to play the recorded message and I get no sound.

I am using a Logitect Microphone with an USB connector.

Also in the Skype program I have set the Skype test and I can hear the message advising me to record a message and wait to hear my own voice replayed but this does not occur.

Have a look at the "Logitech USB Desktop Microphone Configuration" support request. That's a similar problem...
