What alsa version is to be included in gutsy?

Since 1.0.15 has it's first RC out I wonder whether it will be merged into gutsy.

Are you just reusing the packages, debian provides? It seems like debian is on 1.0.14 and has not yet included 1.0.15

Yes, Ubuntu regularly syncs with Debian Sid. Some have Ubuntu specific patches applied, and some are used as-is. See this link for more info:

Even in the new herdy kernel 0.15 alsa is not included. I wonder when this will happen.
