Is it muted?

You may wish to try:

killall pulseaudio; rm -r ¬/.pulse*

then press ALT+F2 and run:

pulseaudio

it may help

You may ALSO benefit fom:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz/unstable; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade

Thanks

What I've seen:

No sound in Kaffeine with HD channels (H264) after upgrade to 10.10. (image OK).

Other dvbt/dvbs channels OK.

I know some packages were deleted during upgrade, but do not know what kde uses as a standard for mp4/aac sound. (this could be for kde.org people..)

Thanks,
Marc
