no sound in Kubuntu 10.04

hello,I am facing a problem in kubuntu,as there is no sound appearing in kubuntu.

ok your ALSA driver doesn't match the tools. Try this:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz/unstable; sudo apt-get -qq update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade
