just installed 10.04 lost all audio how do I get it back?

Installed 10.04 after reboot all audio is gone. Need held getting it running. Help me!

If you installed Ubuntu 10.04 and you didn't partition the hard drive or back anything up, then you don't have anymore audio files. The install reformatted the hard drive and all you files are gone.....Good luck with everything
