Asked by Lukas Krupa

I use Aide a lot, but recently I have an issue initialising it and it returns

Running aide --init...
274:syntax error:"
274:Error while reading configuration:"

This question can be closed now. I found out what was the problem. Apt source list had a double qoutes around which cause Aide to crash.

Double quotes were added by one of my 3rd chef recipe I'm using.
